Biography

Reuben Madison Hanks was born on 28 Feb 1874 in Lampasas, Texas. He was the son of Thomas Hanks and Ealy (Robison) Hanks. The 1880 census^[1] lists Reuben as living with his family in Lampasas, Texas where his father is farming.

On 23 Oct 1900 Reuben married Mary Frances Bullion in Tom Greene County, Texas. Between 1902 and 1907 Mary gave birth to their three children. The 1920 census^[2] shows Reuben raising his family in San Angelo, Texas where he is a tax collector.

Reuben Madison Hanks passed away^[3] on 29 Sep 1958 in San Angelo, Tom Green, Texas. He is buried^[4] at Fairmount Cemetery, San Angelo, Tom Green County, Texas next to Mary Frances.
