"Mary Hanks Weldon was the daughter of Luke Hanks Jr (1715-1757) and Elizabeth Dale, the Luke Hanks that died in 1789 in Abbeville Co SC was her brother Luke Hanks III (1740-1789),her brother Luke received 160 acres in the Will of Robert Dale who was the brother of Elizabeth Dale Hanks and William Dale,Luke Hanks III sold this land in 1784 and moved to Abbeville Co SC"
