Biography
Jerome was born about 1638. A file note in the Quaker Library in Dublin (referring to him as Jeremiah rather than Jerome) states 'Imprisoned for refusing to observe Holy Days during the seventeenth century. Died in prison. His sons Joseph (Dublin), Jeremiah (Birr, county Offaly) became friends.' As a source for this it cites "'Sufferings of Quakers in Ireland' by Abraham Fuller and M. Holmes" which has not been located.
