Biography

William "Bill" Chapman Hanley was born on 29 May 1907 in Illinois, United States. He was the son of William Franklin Hanley and Mary Elizabeth Morris (unsourced per FindAGrave memorial.) He was the 3rd of 19 children.

William married Mary Louise Timmons on 12 July 1928 in Monmouth, Illinois, United States.^{[1] [2]}

Mary and William had 8 children: William Chapman Hanley^[3], Wallace C Hanley, John Hanley, Mary Louise (Hanley) Hawk, Donald Eugene Hanley, Helen D Hanley, Larry Dean Hanley, and Rose (Hanley) Allgood. The only records for Wallace C Chapman are the 1930 census which likely should be associated with his brother William in which Wallace may not have actually ever existed.

William Chapman Hanley passed away as the result of an car crash on Route 150 in Knox County, Illinois on 11 January 1955 in Williamsfield, Knox County, Illinois, United States.
