He was baptised on 18 May 1660 in Selattyn church.[1]
Charles was in business in Oswestry until, presumably through marriage, he became a country gentleman in Radnorshire. His concern when his daughter had smallpox shows warm parental feeling not common in 18th century letters.[2]
[Llanddewi Hall] He was living at Llanddewi Hall at Llanddewi Ystradenni, Powys, Wales.[3] [Map of 1898-1908]
