Obituary - Joseph Dean Hannah, 71, of Asheville, died Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at the John F. Keever Solace Center.
A native of Haywood Co., he was a son of the late Fred and Zella Hannah. He was also preceded in death by brothers Frank, Leroy, David, Paul, and Tommy Hannah, and by sisters Helen and Wilda Smith, and Mary Hannah.
Mr. Hannah was a long distance truck driver and a heavy equipment operator. He loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Carol L. Hannah; sons, Mark, Dean, and Jeff Hannah; daughters, April and Dawn Hannah; six grandsons; two granddaughters; sisters Willie Lamb of Asheville and Wanda Garrison of FL; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the Sardis United Methodist Church Cemetery.
