Margaret Hanan was born in 1842 in South Stockton, Yorkshire and baptised on 25 June 1843 in Stainton, Yorkshire, daughter of Hugh Hanan and Jemima (Bell) Hanan. [1][2][3]
She married James Blackwood on 28 February 1861 at St Thomas's Church, Stockton-on-Tees, County Durham. [4] They had 11 children.
