Biography

Hugh was born on 4 November 1869, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Hugh Hannigan and Ann Delaney.^[1]

When he died, he was a janitor, at a club. He was living at 417 South 5th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.^[2]

On 24 October 1942, he died, at Pennsylvania Hospital, 8th and Spruce Streets, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, of cardiac failure and respiratory failure, due to hypertensive cardiovascular disease and arteriosclerosis. On 28 October 1942, he was buried, at Holy Cross Cemetery (probably in Yeadon, Delaware County, Pennsylvania).^[3]
