Biography
Mary was born about 1859. She passed away in 1944. she was buried in Saint Josephs Old Catholic Cemetery in Winsted Connecticut [1]

Mary Ann Hannon married John W. Winn on October 1,1879 at St. Josephs Church in Winsted. They had five children. Alice Winn was baptized Mary Alice was born in 1880, John born 1882 died very young, John James born 1884, Edward Lawrence 1887 and Frederick Thomas 1892. John W Winn was a member of Winsted Hose Company #1 along with his brother-in-law Joseph Grady. John was a meat cutter working for Blackman & Edgar for 28 years and later at the Warner Market in Winsted. November 9, 1920, John Winn suffered a stroke and died that day. He was 68 years old. He had been married to Mary Ann Hannon for 41 years.
When her son Edward's wife, Nettie, in 1923, Mary Ann moved to West Haven to help care for his children Edward and George. Later they moved back to Winsted. When Edward remarried, Mary Ann went to live with her daughter Alice Winn Farley. Mary Ann died October 1944. [3]
