Biography

Signe was born in Sweden in 1839. She was the daughter of Hans Hansson and Maria Svensdotter. In 1859 Signemarried Anders Andersson and together they were parents of nine children. In 1879 they immigrated to America. After Anders’s death, in 1892 Signe second married John Johanson. They farmed in Elmwood, Utah where Signe passed away in 1920 at age 80. Signe is buried beside John in Elmwood, Utah.
