He married Bodil (Jorgensen) Hansen 14th May 1819 in Stege, Præstø, Denmark. [1] The Denmark church records have their marriage date as 14th March 1819 [2]. Peder Hansen was 29 years old when he married a 17 year old Bodil .
In 1827 their daughter Johanne Hansen was born.[3]
