Helge Hansen, son of Hans Rolfsen and Gjertrud Helgesdatter, was born at Rya on 12 Nov 1799 and was baptized at Lunner on 24 Nov 1799.[1] I have not been able to locate this family in the 1801 census of Norway.
He married Berte Johannesdatter from Skøien on 04 Apr 1820 at Jevnaker.[2]
In 1865, he was a widow, living with one of his sons at Godlid.[3]
A few years after the death of his wife, he immigrated to the United States where he lived near some children in Renville County, Minnesota. He died on 17 Dec 1890 and was buried in Our Saviors Lutheran Cemetery in Sacred Heart, Renville County, Minnesota.[4]
