Jon Hansen was born in Norway
Jon was born on 6 October 1785 at Ulefoss sagbruk, Holla.[1] He was the son of Hans Christensen Saug and Karen Olsdatter.[1]
In the 1801 census at Ulefoss sagbruk, Holla, the 16 years old Jon Hansen is listed with his parents Hans Christensen and Karie Olsdatter.[2]
He was confirmed on 22 April 1804 in Holla.[3]
