Diedrich was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. Dee married Margaretha Harms on June 21, 1883 in Gretna, Sarpy County, Nebraska. Margaretha's death date is currently unknown. Dee married Elizabeth M. (Liza) Waner about 1893. The couples children are Charles H. Hansen, b. Feb. 5, 1895 in (Nebraska?) Kansas, Lawrence M. Hansen, b. April 3, 1897 in Kansas, Ada Marie, b. 1906 in Oklahoma.
The 1900 Census says the family is living in Arkansas City, Kansas and he is a Rail Road Conductor. It says Dee came to America in 1878 and he is naturalized. They rent their home.
The 1910 says the Elizabeth gave birth to four children, but only three are living. Dee's birth place is wrong in this census.
In December 1919, Dee Marcus Hansen sold property for $4000 at L9, B37 in Kenwood, Oklahoma.
Dee was living in Pittsburg, Kansas in 1921 working for the railroad. 1890 Kansas Census records were destroyed by fire.
The US City Directory lists Dee M Hansen followed by r1014 W 11th. Also listed is Lawrence M. (Hazel) brkmn MO PC h1014 W 11th.
Dee Marcus Hansen is buried in Fairview Cemetery in Montgomery County, Kansas. [1][2]
