The 1900 Census lists her name as Rosie. She is five years old and lives with her family. Her parents are listed as Chris and Maggie Hansen.
The 1930 Census says that Rose is living with her husband, Clarence, daughter Donna, age 1 1/12, and Henry T. who is Clarence's father. Both she and Clarence were 26 years old when they married. They were 34 years old. The 1940 census added a daughter named Shannon Rose, age 5.
The Gretna Breeze says that Rose was a member of the LaBelle Homemakers. They met in her house in September, 1941.
The 1955 edition of The Gretna Breeze mentioned Roses death ten years ago. It says that she was 94 and died early Tuesday morning at her home four miles west and one mile south of Millard. Her husband and two daughters survived.
