Biography
Elizabeth was the daughter of Randall Hanson (1630-1699) and his first wife, Barbara (Hatton) Johnson (ca. 1634), widow of James Johnson.
Elizabeth married first, William Marshall II (1670-1698), and had the following children:
1) William Marshall III b. 9-12-1690 "Marshall", head of Wicomico R., Charles Co., MD. d. 7-29-1734 near Wicomico River, Allen's Fresh, Charles Co., MD. m. Rebecca (Bishop) Batie (1693-1750).
2) Barbara Marshall b. 9-30-1692 “Marshall”, head of Wicomico R., Charles Co., MD. d. ca. 1722 Charles Co., MD. m.1) ? Jameson (ca. 1684-1706); m.2) Henry Barnes, Jr. (1676-1739).
3) Thomas Marshall I b. 1-27-1694 "Marshall", head of Wicomico R., Charles Co., MD. d. 6-10-1759 "Marshall Hall", Charles Co., MD. m.1) Elizabeth (Bishop) Batie Stoddert (ca. 1693-1750); m.2) Sabina Trueman Greenfield (ca. 1714-1768).
4) Richard Marshall, Sr. b. 1696 "Marshall", head of Wicomico River, Charles Co., MD. d. 6-13-1750 William & Mary Parish, Charles Co., MD. m. Mary Douglas (1705-1782).
