Sarah Jane Hanson was born on 18 Dec 1830 in Harrison, Ohio to John Hanson Sr. and Lydia Galloway. She married James West on 30 Oct 1851 in Jefferson, Ohio. Children: William Alexander, James Ross Jr., Lydia Sophia, Isaac (Mack) McNulta, Robert Hanson, Elizabeth (Lizzie) West, Laura Belle, John Franklin (Frank). She died on 4 Mar 1920 in Arrowsmith, McLean, Illinois.
