Niels was born about 1649.[1] He was the son of Harald Gundersen Klyve and Jøran Nielsdatter.[2]
He married Berte Amundsdatter.[3]
He married Maren Olsdatter (daughter of an unidentified Ole and Maren Rasmusdatter Lerstang).[4]
He died in 1721 in Solum.[1]
