Biography

Thomas Pendleton Harber/Harbour was born in Halifax County, Virginia, on 22 February 1787. He was the son of Noah Harber and Judith Strange.

Private Noah Harbour, born 23 October 1757 at Halifax Co VA died there 1850 and his ( 1st ) wife Judith Strange are honored for service during the American Revolution: 1) CAPT JAMES TURNER, MAJ ROSS, COL LEWIS. Their son Thomas Pendleton Harbour married Sally Tevis 24 - Oct - 1815. [1]

The 1860 Census for Western Subdivision 2, Madison, Kentucky, United States lists

  1. Thomas P Harber, a farmer, born Virginia, age 73;
  2. Sally Harber, born Madison, Kentucky, age 65;
  3. William Harber, born Madison, Kentucky, age 19;
  4. Nancy Harber, born Madison, Kentucky, age 16;
  5. Sarah H Gill, born Madison, Kentucky, age 12[2];

He passed away in 1873.
