Biography
Drury Dobbins Hardin was born on 3 August 1863, in North Carolina. He was a son of Edmund Sylvester Hardin and Martha Malinda Dailey. He married Carrie Virginia Sarah Wilkie on 14 February 1889, in Rutherford, North Carolina, They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 1 daughter. He died on 26 January 1898, in his hometown, at the age of 34, and was buried in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Rutherford, North Carolina
