Mrs. Marline Elizabeth Weddington, age 89, of Forrest City, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2002.Mrs. Weddington was born Oct. 22, 1912, in Cherry Valley, the daughter of Walter Hardin and Annie Cook Hardin. She made her home in Forrest City most of her life, was a housewife and a charter member of the Second Baptist Church.Mrs. Weddington married Raymond Weddington in 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1967. She is survived by three sons, Larry W. Weddington of Wynne, Ewell W. Weddington of Little Rock, Darrel G. Weddington of Forrest City; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.Visitation for Mrs. Weddington will be held Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, 2002, at 2 p.m. at Stevens Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Thomason officiating. Burial will follow in Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.-Forrest City Times-Herald
