I don't know much about my family tree yet.
I'm trying to trace my family name back as far as possible. The Hardin name is from my maternal side, so I keep hitting several road blocks! I've never really had much family around, didn't even know I had family outside of my immediate's until after I graduated high school in 2009. My family I guess fell apart, drifting away with zero communication after the passing of my great grandmother in early 1990, before I was born.

I've been told a number of things about our history and honestly I just want to know if it's true. Relation to John Wesley Hardin? Native American (Cherokee)? Just want to know who I am and where I come from.
