Welcome Douglas,

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person.

Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community.

Please feel free to ask if you have any questions.

Our help pages, also top right, have all sorts of useful information.

Happy Hunting,

I notice you have uploaded a GEDCOM. You will find that there are several stages in the process between uploading and importing a GEDCOM. Here are some things to do while you are waiting for your emailed match report:
  • Consider reading discussions about GEDCOMs in our forum, G2G

(After importing a large GEDCOM with multiple sources, I found that adding profiles by hand would have been more efficient. If you have a lot of sources for each profile, consider using the match function, but not the import.)
