C. Chauncy Harding is named as the youngest son of Amos Harding and also a joint executor in the latter's will.
Chauncy C. Harding married Rachel Story 23 Feb 1830 in Marion Co., Ohio.[1] Rachel was born 1809 in Maine and died 1869. Children:
Harriet Harding b abt 1835 OH m. J. P. Lininger son of Henry Lininger & Mary Palmer[2]
Jonathan Harding b abt 1837 OH
Amos Harding b abt 1839 OH
Hiram Harding b abt 1848 OH

Chauncy's will dated 5 Apr 1880 named his wife Electa S. Harding to whom he left dower rights, and children: [looks like] N. S.Harding [Jonathan S?], Amos J. Harding, Hiram B. Harding and Harriet Lininger. Probate took place on 21 Apr 1881.[3] NOTE that the date of death and date of probate do not match the death date on his headstone of 1880.
