Biography
Robert Harding was born in Ireland.
Robert was born in about 1796.
He married Dorothea Minchin (daughter of Falkiner Minchin and Maria Gabbett) on 21 November 1831:

- MARRIED
- On the 21st instant, at Peter's Church, by the Rev. Mr. Manly, Robert Harding, Esq., of Parsonstown, in the King's County, to Dora, youngest daughter of the late Faulkner Minchin, Esq., of Annagh, in the County Tipperary.[1]
They had about five sons. (Two became Clergyman (fifth son Charles William Harding and Jonathan Harding); his third son Dr Robert Harding emigrated to New Zealand in 1861, where he passed away in 1881 after establishing a successful medical practice in Wellington. Another son, Daniel Litton Harding, emigrated to America in 1865 where he was with the Indiana Railway, and was a Mayor of Fort Wayne, Indiana.)
He lived at Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland, where he was Governor of Tullamore County Gaol[[1]].
Sadly his wife Dorothea died in 1847. Robert probably remained a bachelor.
He passed away in 1867 at the age of about 71.[2]
