The following children of Thomas and Mary were mentioned as heirs in their paternal grandfather's 1728 will: John Harding, Abraham Harding, Isaac Harding, Henry Harding, Thomas Harding, and Mary Harding. Thomas's widow, Mary, was also named as an heir.[1]

See "Kirk Family Genealogy", M. S. Roberts; Middletown and Phila. Mtg. Records; Davis' "History of Bucks Co." Thomas Harding was passenger on Ship "Kent", arriving at Burlington, N. J.. 1677. He m. at Phila., 2-8-1686, Mary Bullock (Pa. marriage records). Thomas was member of Assembly 1706, 1709. 1715 (Pa. Archives, Ser. 2, Vol. IX, P. 772). Mary Bullock brought to America with her the following certificate from London Meeting to Phila. Meeting:
"City of London."
"Whereas Mary Bullock, sometime of this City, single woman, has acquainted yt. she indends a voyage to Pensellvania and that yt ship she is now bound out and may suddenly depart before next men's meeting where- upon she have desired a certificate on her behalf- Underscribed by 18 Friends of City of London." (This certificate bears no date as recorded in Phila. Mo. Mtg. Records copy in Pa. Historical Soc., Phila.) Thomas Harding was one of the largest landholders of Southampton, Bucks Co., in 1702, having over 600 acres. Thomas and Mary were both buried the same day, 9-20-1732.
