Avery Glenn Hardwick, age 68 of Jonesboro, Ark. (formerly of Monticello) passed away Thursday, March 15, 2001 at St. Bernard Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark.

He was born April 20, 1932, the son of the late Hobart Hardwick and Myrtia Mercer.

He is survived by one brother-Lee Hardwick of Wellington, Ohio; and six sisters- Marie Morrow, Lois Dick, and Helen Seaton, all of Amhurst, Ohio, Bonnie Turpin of Monticello, Ky., Opal Owens of Shelbyille, Ky., and Freda Casada of Orlando, Ohio.

Funeral services were held Sunday, March 18, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. J.S. New officiating.

Burial was in the Hardwick Cemetery.
