Biography

Noah Johnson Hardwick was born in Adair County, Kentucky in 1818.[1]

He married Catherine Ann Rhoades in Marion Missouri in 1841,[2] and by 1850 they were living in Sullivan County, Missouri, with six children:

Noah volunteered to fight for the Union Army of the United States and was associated with the Forty-third and Forty-fourth Infantry units in 1864.[5]


Noah Johnson Hardwick died in the Civil War on 11 January 1865 and is buried at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.[1]
