Joseph Fredrick Henry Hardwick was born on 24th February 1897 in Mirani, Queensland (Australia). He was the sixth son and youngest of thirteen children of George Hardwick and Mary Pyert. [1]
Joseph married Ellen Harris on 24th July 1918 in Queensland. [2]
Joseph served in the Australian Army in the Volunteer Defence Corps 15th Battalion during the Second World War, in 15th Battalion; enlisted 24th April 1942, discharged 21st October 1945. [3] He was awarded the Australia Service Medal 1939-1945 for his war service.
He passed away on 24th April 1959 in Queensland. [4]
