Unsourced profile, notes for finding sources - Mary is on several thousand Ancestry trees with these dates or similar (usually 1612 - 1640) but no sources found on Ancestry, Find my Past or FamilySearch. There is a baptism for Mary daughter of Richard Hardy on 10 November 1611 in Timberland, Lincolnshire,^[1] but this is about 70 miles from Hunsley Beacon where Mary's father is said to be living and Hardy is a common name; no supporting sources found.

Mary's father Richard is said to be of Hunslow Beacon, Yorkshire, (com. Eborum) in the family pedigree in Dugdale's Visitations.^[2] This is an alternate spelling of Hunsley Beacon in the parish of Rowley, East Riding of Yorkshire, about 20 miles from Wetwang where he was born. Parish registers for Rowley do not survive before 1653. There are some patchy bishop's transcripts from 1600 onwards at Find my Past but nothing found for Mary.
