Unsourced profile, notes for finding sources - Mary is on several thousand Ancestry trees with these dates or similar (usually 1612 - 1640) but no sources found on Ancestry, Find my Past or FamilySearch. There is a baptism for Mary daughter of Richard Hardy on 10 November 1611 in Timberland, Lincolnshire,[1] but this is about 70 miles from Hunsley Beacon where Mary's father is said to be living and Hardy is a common name; no supporting sources found.
Mary's father Richard is said to be of Hunslow Beacon, Yorkshire, (com. Eborum) in the family pedigree in Dugdale's Visitations.[2] This is an alternate spelling of Hunsley Beacon in the parish of Rowley, East Riding of Yorkshire, about 20 miles from Wetwang where he was born. Parish registers for Rowley do not survive before 1653. There are some patchy bishop's transcripts from 1600 onwards at Find my Past but nothing found for Mary.

Hardy-377 and Hardy-367 appear to represent the same person because: Many children of Richard Hardy, husband of Alice Wilson, have been attached to John Hardy and Mary Stanley by mistake. They originated from the pedigree in Wurts Vol VII pp.2133-37 which contains many errors and confusion and uncertainties. Wurts attaches them as children of Richard: Richard 15 yrs; Thomas; 13 yrs; Alice; 11; George 9; John 6; Mary 7 Jacquette 4; Michael 1 yr. (ages in 1619) I propose to merge these with Richard Hardy and Alice Wilson's children.
Hardy-538 and Hardy-367 appear to represent the same person because: Found during family merges; name and birth/death dates in agreement. one year difference in dates may be resolved in merge or noted in bio with sources.
