Biography
When Martha Hardy and her twin brother Thomas were born in 1730 in Bertie, North Carolina, their father, Col., was 32 and their mother, Susannah, was 38. She married Alexander O'Quinn and they had 14 children together. She also had one son and two daughters from another relationship. She died in 1813 in Sampson, North Carolina, at the impressive age of 96.
