Biography
John was born in 1754. On 7 Jan 1777 he married Jane Shalcross. They had seven known children. He passed away in 1823.
He is believed to be the son of John Hardey and Peggy Harrysen. However, further research is needed to prove this relationship. Only a baptism record from Oldham, Lancashire, England shows this.
