Biography

Ruth Emily Violet Hardy was born on 10 FEB 1888 in Oxford.^[1]Her mother's LNAB was Mann.^[2]

In 1891 she is living in Norham Road Headington with her family.^[3]

The 1901 census finds her living in Headington, Oxford - her mother's name is Mary and she has an older sister called Dorothy.^[4]

In 1911, she is visiting her Aunt Emily Hardy in Eastbourne.^[5]

She married Percy Perryman in 1911 in Oxford and they had 3 daughters.^[6]

She spent much of her married life in Uganda.

She died in Oxford on 28 Jul 1966.^[7]
