Sarah Ann, the daughter of Deacon Enos and Mary (Lund) Hardy was born 1816 in Hollis, New Hampshire.[1][2] Sarah married Thomas Damon on 17 April 1872 in Westminster, Massachusetts.[3][4]This is believed to be the first marriage for Sarah and the third marriage for Thomas. He married 1) Laura Green (1800-1830) with whom he had three children, and 2) Martha Bond (1809-1869) with whom he had two children. There are no known children from this third marriage between Sarah Ann and Thomas at this time. Sarah Ann (Hardy) Damon died on 4 April 1879 at 63 years of age in Westminster.[5]She is buried in the Woodside Cemetery in Westminster, Massachusetts.[6]
