Carmen Knott Hardy was born[1] on Friday, 3rd September 1880, the daughter of James Robert Hardy and Eliza (Knight) Hardy, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Carmen married[2] Kenneth Carmichael on Thursday, 20th September 1906 in St Clement's Church of England, Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia.
