Eric Morton Hardy was born[1] in 1898, the son of Hickson Sebastapol Hardy and Eva Martha (Beattie) Hardy, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Eric married[2] Sarah Sybella McNiven on Saturday, 25th November 1922 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. No details of children available.

Eric passed away[3] on Tuesday, 13th December 1977, late of Eastwood[4], formerly of Pennant Hills, New South Wales, Australia, aged 79 years, and is interred[5] at Northern Suburbs Memorial Gardens and Crematorium, North Ryde, New South Wales, OU Wall, 231.
