Hello Sir. My name is Mark Maxner here in the States and have been a member here since April 2020. I came across your name on a response to a question on the Harvie name. It mentions that your Harvies are from Renfrewshire Scotland. This peaked my interest. I too have that name in my tree from same area. Mine go far back as early 1800's in Paisley specific. My Maternal Great Grandmother was Jean/Jane Harvie/Harvey (1854?)and married Charles Walmsley from Fermanagh. She had a sister around same age, younger Maggie. Maggie married a Pattinson and had children. Would you let me know if any of this sounds familiar to you? I know there is a Raeside in that line I'm talking about. Thank You for any information . Take care. Mark

Apologies to you for sending the previous message. I reviewed my information and mistakenly said that the Pattinson name was connected to my line. It was actually Paterson. Again apologies for the post.

Ciao! This is just a general check-in for members of the Italy project. I am checking to see who is still interested in being a member of the project as we go through some much needed restructuring. I was also wondering what teams you would like to be on. We’ve created teams for each part of Italy. North, South, Islands etc. They will be explained further in an upcoming g2g post. Stay tuned. For now, please let me know if you are still interested in the project and if you’d like to be a member of a team.

I am interested in finding out more about what this would encompass. As you can see I heavily involved in a Scottish project. However, that being said I have done a lot of research on mainland Italy and Sicily. I have grandparents from both. Additionally, I know Italian and could be of help with that.

A presto ciao!

Knowing Italian would be extremely helpful in the teams. I think the teams focus on beefing up profiles in a certain area. Like you do with the Scottish project. I think more will be explained in the g2g post. At least I hope they will. Would you like me to put you in the South and Islands teams? Let me know and I'll see what I can do. Thanks again!

Hi Bobbie,

I fully support this mission, however, this is what I do on a daily basis with profiles within Clan Menzies and the associated families. I add hundreds of profiles per month in support of this mission.

I cannot commit to your proposed dates, but love the concept of the Twisted Thistles, perhaps I will be able to devote time to it in the future.

Cheers, Randy

Hi Randy,

On behalf of the England Leaders, I wanted to say a huge thank you for all your contributions towards the project in the past six months as a Team Member for Warwickshire. We've achieved a great deal during this time and we couldn't have done it without you.

Are you happy to stay in your current team and the project as a whole? Are there any other teams you'd like to join? What are we doing well, and what would you like to see us doing differently moving forwards?

Please respond to this message via e-mail. I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks,

Susie, England Project Leader :-)

Hi, Randy thanks for fixing Rhonda and sending me that note. I got a smile on that one!

Hi Randy,

It's been a year since the England Project was re-ignited. Thank you for being part of this exciting journey!

We really appreciate all your contributions and hard work :)

We would love some feedback from you please. :)

Are you happy contributing with the team you are on, or would you like a change, or even add to another team?

If you are not already on a team, which one would you like to be on?

If you are not sure what is available, just ask, we are here to help :)

Are you still happy contributing to the England Project?

Please PM me through my profile and let me know how you are doing :)

Thank you :)

Wendy Leader England Project.

Thanks for your update on travels and your family searches. I wish and want to do the same.

Just keep it up until you get too old to travel alone. I've passed that point. Pretty sure.

Good luck and keep me in touch!!!
