Of Myl Hill, near Leeds, Yorkshire. Buried 1-8-1576. Son of John Hargrave, born late 1400's (Yorkshire Fines, 1511) and his first wife Johanna. John's will proved, 1548, Leeds. Earliest record of the Hargrave name in Yorkshire found in the Pudsay Deeds, A.D. 1317 is John de Hargreves of Rimington, Newby, West Riding.
