Tilman Hargrove of Abbott is Dead.

HILLSBORO, Aug. 9 --SPL-- Tilman H. Hargrove, 70, died at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at his home in Abbott. He was born in Tennessee and came to Texas in 1903. He operated a filling station in Abbott for many years before retiring because of ill health.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Abbott Baptist Chruch, Rev. John Grimes officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro.

Surviving are two sons, A. D. Hargrove, Abbott, and Jake C. Hargrove, Waco; two brothers, Lee Hargrove, Eddy, and Flene Hargrove, Waco, and a sister, Mrs. Fronie Butler, Temple.
