Walter was born in 1885. He passed away in 1908.

Walker was the oldest child of George and Francis. He had a colorful career as a horse trader, saloon keeper, deputy chief of police and gun fighter. His adult years were spent in Tarrant Co. and Bowie, Texas.
He was shot to death by the bartender Walter James at the "Board of Trade Saloon" in Ft. Worth on 20 May 1908 at the age of 38. During his life he had killed about 6 people but never served time in the penitentiary. He left behind a widow and two small children.
