Hi Gregory, could you remove the category for one name studies from your profile please? Your name is showing up on our index page where only the name studies should be appearing. Having the Harington Name Study category is all you need. Thank you! ;-)

Gregory - Wondering if you might consider uploading your autosomal DNA results to so others might be able to compare if matches on there with you? If you chose to do this please update your DNA tests to include your GEDMatch ID on Wiki tree. Thanks!

That is wonderful !! A One Name Study here at WikiTree could be another way for you to share your expertise and knowledge with other WikiTree researchers who may not be aware of your other study!

I see that you are interested in DNA study and haven taken a test. Would you be interested in starting a One Name Study for your surname? The purpose of the One Name Study is to coordinate any WikiTreers who are researching one particular surname and to provide a resource for collaboration

For instructions on how to get started and suggestions for getting the most out of your study, see: One Name Study

For more information, contact Doug or Alison with any questions.

Hey Gregory,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Hi Gregory

I see you uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a WikiTree project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? You will find it and WikiTree's other interesting projects by using the FIND link top right of most WikiTree pages, select PROJECTS from the drop down box. WikiTree's DNA project has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.

You might also like to read the discussions tagged with DNA in the G2G forum.

Happy WikiTreeing

Hi Gregory,

It looks like John Harington wasn't added as the son of Martha (Musgrove) Harington during the merge. Usually the relationship will be preserved. I probably didn't select him as a child while completing the merge since I was doing it on my phone and the checkboxes are very fiddly! I've added the relationship now though, sorry for the confusion.
