William (Harkin) Harkins migrated from Ireland to United States.

William was baptized 14 Oct 1888. He is the son of Neal Harkin and Mary Harkins. The sponsors at his baptism were Dan Bradley and Jane McLaughlin. He was born in Ballybrack. He came to Philadelphia through Ellis Island in 1909. In the 1910 census, he is reported to be living with his Uncle Neal, his mother's brother.

His World War I draft registration indicates that he has a defective arm. He was a motorman for the public transportation system. He died of hypertension due to cardio renal disease.[1]
