Biography

Thomas Harkness was born in Ireland.

Thomas was born about 1820. ^[1] He was the son of James Harkness, farmer, and lived at Creevagh as of 1849.^[2]

On 12 Jun 1849 at Claggan Presbyterian, he married Margaret Bell, daughter of James Bell, farmer of Dunmore. ^{[3] [2]}

He passed away 6 Jul 1901 at Rossmore, Lissan, age 84, due to general weakness. Attended by Jonnie Harkness, son. ^{[4] [5]} The chief mourners were: ^[6]
