Cora was born August 13, 1866 in Leslie, Michigan to Reskcom and Mary Dewey Harkness.[1] Mary died in 1869, and her father remarried, Eliza Jane Woodland.
Cora married Frank Overacker November 3, 1888, and they had one son.
Cora and Frank divorced before 1900, as she is living as a housekeeper, and she and her son Lloyd are living in her employers house on the 1900 Census.[3]
Between 1905 and 1910, she married her former employer, Isaac B. Matthews, [4][5]they lived in South Dakota.[6]
Cora married Harry Hodges April 11, 1925 in Jackson, Michigan.[8]They lived in Mason, Ingham County, Michigan until her death in 1944.[9][10][1]
Notes
Cora was born in 1866 according to her gravestone and death certificate. The written memorial, however, says 1869 and that her mother died in childbirth. (Possible, just with an unknown child.)[11]
