Richard and Abigail settled upon lands in London Grove Twp., that were afterwards willed to her by her father, the clause reading: "I Give & Bequeath to my son-in-law, Richard Flower & his Heirs forever that part of said Tract upon ye Branch of Elk River that he Dwelleth upon."
It is quite possible that Richard and Abigail settled first in Kennet Twp. The records of Kennet Meeting, "informs" that Abigail Harlan took certificate to New Garden, 6, 30, 1729.
