Henry was born about 1823, son of William and Mary (Woodrow) Harman of King Twp, York in the Home District of Upper Canada. In 1852 Henry Harman owned 25 acres on Lot 19 of the 2nd Concession, all under cultivation. Livestock on the farm were three milk cows, four heifers or calves, three horse, six sheep, and six swine ... He passed away in 1854 - there is a burial recorded for the Aurora Cemetery which reads: Henry Harman died 30 November 1854, aged 32 years and seven months.
