We assumed Joseph was the son of William Harman and Mary Woodrow because on the 1851 census he was living next door to two sons of William & Mary. He died sometime before the 1861 census and his widow remarried Charles Duffy.
But we now have William Harman’s 1877 Will, where he names even his deceased children and does not name a Joseph. So not sure who his parents are.
