Biography

John was born about 1842. He passed away in 1917.

John had written a beautiful book - Richard referred to it as 'Book of Great-grandfather's Cures' It has loads of cures for animals and people.

John Harman married Elizabeth Tarrant circa 1870 and lived in Rough Hill first and then Woodview, Mallow. He had a farm in Newmarket also. He invested in shares of Great Southern Railways as dowry for his six daughters - this was a terrible investment - resulting in no dowry!

I have found the civil marriage of John Harman and Elizabeth Hoskins Tarrant.

They were married 7th September 1871 in the parish of Clonmel, Co Cork.
