Old Research Notes

Re: Weekly Challenge 04 Jun 2018, location corrections (error 603, USA used too early). The data in this profile before it was altered was the following:

  • birth, 1654-03-13 Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts, United States, altered to Springfield, Massachusetts Bay.

Regarding the birth place, note that Springfield became part of Hampshire County in 1662 and did not become part of Hamden county until 1812. In 1654, it was not grouped in a county, i.e., at the time it was Springfield, Massachusetts Bay, Saunders-3874 16:07, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
