Elizabeth Harmon was born on 16 March 1814 in Ohio, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Harmon. She married Samuel Baird on 14 August 1834 in Ohio. According to her FamilySearch profile #L22X-KQX, the children of Elizabeth Harmon and Samuel Baird were:

The 1860 United States Census for Caledonia Township 102 R 6, Houston, Minnesota, Elizabeth, 46, is living with her husband Samuel, 46, and six children: Catherine, 21, Jonathan H., 19, Jacob W., 17, Mary J., 14, William H., 10, and John A., 5. The entire family is shown as being born in Ohio.

Elizabeth died on 30 April 1864 in Houston, Minnesota.
